Exclamation Front tires for welds

Does any know where to find the new ET Street R 28X6 front tires? Also what’s the difference between those tires and the sportsman tires? I mostly drive on the street with a few trips to the track per year.

Are you talking about the ET Street Front? Looks like a DOT radial race tire to me. Tread pattern on it is not very good IMO for real street driving, as it has no side exit channels, just like the ET Street R. ET Street R is absolutely horrible in a real rainstorm btw, that's from actual experience with it. Sportsman SR IMO would be a better actual street-driving tire, because it has a real tread pattern.

Benefit of this tire IMO would be for weight savings over the SR while keeping the DOT radial status. Assuming here you are talking about the 28x6x18 tire, then this new tire lists as 18 lbs, compared to the Sportsman SR 28x6x18 listing at 25 lbs.

Thanks for the input. Ya I like the weight savings of the et street fronts. But I can’t find them anywhere. Most people are saying Aug at best! If I wait that long I will miss a ton of track time

What diameter wheel are you running up front?
