Not surprised with California glad I am only playing 3.50 or less for premium and 2.95 for reg for the Subaru.

I live in Cali. It's almost $5 in my neighborhood. I know the pricing has to due to the taxes, the type of fuel in the state which makes it harder to trade with other states, and supply/demand. But I have the impression that the state under the current leadership is allowing the high prices since they want to push for electrification and the "clean" air agenda. Just my 2 cents.
