Two years in a row. Elliott won last year and ended up finishing 4th this year. I quit watching Nascar 4 or 5 years ago and don't really miss it. Crashes, long clean ups, just wears you out trying to watch it. I'm glad Chevy won again.

I concur it's hard to watch anymore, I was a long time 20 year something fan and once Gordon was in his last season I stopped watching it. When it's on now I can watch for a few laps or 30 minutes but it's just not my thing any more. I was glad to see Larson win, I thought he had a great future with Ganassi/Target (if memory serves).

I've gotten real interested in the road course configurations. Seems like the Camaro teams do real well. I wonder what car they'll run when the Camaro is discontinued by gm?

Its still only a "Camaro" in the hood, roof, and decklid but I might be mistaken with these cars now at least a few years back there were a few OE body panels on the cars.

But wait. Everyone keeps telling me GM spends ZERO $ marketing the Camaro. This can’t be true.

The front fascia isn't even real.

Just like how Toyota has a "Camry" in NASCAR...

Yep just like the Camaro is slowly on its way out so is Nascar. So yeah still pretty lousy marketing.

In the “good old days” NASCAR had strict rules about manufacturer cars and parts.
You could buy a Super Bee for instance……the base for the car used…
Now the only thing Chevy supplies are the stickers on it…
Engines made by Hendricks Motors….

All that said, Al did a GREAT job building my streetable Super Sport.
