Horsepower

Hello,

My current mods are

Camshaft (229/240 116+5)
2" long tube headers no cats
9.65" lower pulley
DMS fender tank
Stock upper pulley
HHP TCM swap
Rotofab big gulp intake
Stock upper pulley and unported sc

What would your guess be on how much RWHP I'll be making with this set up?

It made 654rwhp on a cold pull with the 9.06” lower pulley. They are now replacing the lower pulley with a 9.65”. 625 seems a little low.

Dyno numbers can vary wildly by type (load bearing vs inertia drum) and altitude correction factor. That said you’re leaving a lot on the table by not running E. Port the blower and add a bigger TB too.

I guess 680 on the first pull in the morning. 650 or less after that.

I have Jannetty Terminator Cam, same headers, no cats, only a 8.650 lower/stock upper, JMS voltage booster, but a 95mm throttle body with a big gulp and put down 690 whp on a nice hot Florida day.

But I was also on E40.
What fuel are you running?

I would wager 650-660 range

I wish. I had a 9.06 lower before and with that I made 654 cold. They are replacing it with a 9.65 now so I can make more boost. I think I should be at 675ish now.

My OEM 1.7L build had a 9.18 (10%) lower which was as far as Hennessey would go. My reaction to a 9.65 is that it seems like too much and will generate too much heat

Ahh I thought you meant the 654 was before cam. I think that is too much boost. It's only going to make more power when cold. Port the blower and give it more octane.

Horsepower

So results are in!! On a cold pull it made 707RWHP with the 9.6 lower pulley and stock upper! Beyond satisfied!! Blower however is a restriction. Need to get it ported
