PDR use with gps
Heading to a newish track tomorrow. Anyone know if the PDR system will learn the course or if there is something specific that you need to do?

Yep it’s not too hard. It will walk you through marking the start finish line once you start it up. After the 1st lap it will show the course on screen.

As you go out on track for the first time, mark the start/finish line and the PDR will learn the track as you drive around the track for the first lap. Once you cross the start/finish line it will start recording lap times. From that point, the PDR is all set and all you have to do is hit "start recording" for each subsequent session.
Always keep one of the sessions on your SD card, and it will use that as a reference for your next track day on the same track and again, all you have to do is "start recording". |
