Talking 427 Darton Sleeved, F1A 94 Build

Hey guys, I have an upcoming build being finished up soon, and I wanted to get you guy's opinion on it. My 2016 Camaro SS A8 is getting a 427 Darton Sleeved motor, Frankenstein Heads, BTR boost cam, Ligenfilter Fuel system *i believe thats what its called*, F1A 94 and intercooler, Meth/E85/93oct, and Supporting mods.

What numbers do you guys think we can achieve?
What sort of maintenance is done to a build like this?
What do you guys think of the build?😬

Im new to the forums so sorry if i sound all noob

RPM did a video on a nearly identical build on a SS 1LE. Except it was stock displacement with drop in pistons/rods. They saw close to 1k on pump gas.

A Circle D converter, and a TCM tune.

Will it need more work?

Others can comment more on the A8. I know the M6 would need some work to handle 700+ ft-lbs.

I think you'll be around 1,000HP. So are they doing driveshafts? Axles? I would think at least the ZL1 axles.

Sounds like an epic build!

I don't plan on doing any digs or racing at a drag strip, mainly rolls and if possible circuit racing, would the axles still need replacement?

You're going to be at the point where it's not if but when stuff starts breaking. The A8 starts getting iffy around 800 without being rebuilt. Id be looking at axles, and a driveshaft with a loop unless you want it to ride passenger with you. I'd probably go as far as having this done. https://gforce1320.com/product/6th-g...aro-9-irs-kit/

Agreed 100%. DS, safety loop, and axles at that level for sure.

At the risk of sounding like a d, if your engine builder couldn't provide this information, I think maybe you might want to find a different shop. Bunch of strangers on the internet I doubt are going to give you more accurate information.

Well the shop did actually yknow give me the specs and the numbers, i just wanted opinions from the camaro community, i trust this shop as i have seen their work and their engines being used heavily.

I do recall the shop owner telling me theyd put some stronger axles on that car, I just havent asked about it, since all I've been focused on was the engine itself lol.

I've looked around and haven't found a camaro rocking a 427 Darton so I was hoping someone here had experienced it, and the maintenance with a car like that.
