Front end clunk

I've read the posts about this. I know about the TSB, and I'm getting the bolts replaced right now. But my dealership wanted me to replace the entire saw-bar end-links. They said the bushings get worn. I've only for 24k miles on her. SS 1len with about a dozen moderate track days, a drag race day, and a few autoX. Is it really possible the bushings are already worn, or are they just trying to upsell me? Thanks guys.

No, mine has been doing it since almost new. They have changed the washers, end-links, etc and it always comes back.

Let them replace all the parts if it’s covered under warranty!

On his 2017, it might not be depending on when he bought it.

Yeah, warranty just expired a few months ago. Ain't that always how it is? Just started, so i hope its temporary. The rattley wheels come back but i just keep having clean the hubs.

If its something that doesn't go away, does that mean it can't lead to some catastrophic failure? Like the sway bar just disconnecting on the road?

Also is it really possible the bushings wear out this quickly?

I would think the sway bar bushings are polyurethane or Delrin and not made out of rubber like in the past. The rubber bushings would compress and deform over time and would have to be replaced but I don’t see ours doing that. I would just let them replace the bolts/nuts or tighten and drive on.

I didn't want to mess with mine anymore, just replaced them with BMR links. Never had to deal with them again.

Woul dbe my suggestion to if warranty is out.

I get some click somewhere up front but I've checked and my end links are tight but that was with the wheel hanging. I don't know if on ramps with the wheel supported is crucial to diagnosing that or not, I haven't tried it yet.
