Arrow FUEL FILTER OPTIONS

Hey guys... for those who run an auxiliary fuel filter, was curious to know what brand you went with and where you installed it?

Photos please

I use a small DW filter. It's got a replaceable filter and is something like 6-microns (at least as small as 10) or something pretty small.

Because I was running electrical from the SSR in the trunk to the REFLEX out front, I ran it close to where the DSX aux' pump set-up used to be. I used some rivnuts to mount the filter bracket, Vibrant PTFE hose and most of their fittings. I split at the OEM QC, and branched off, trying to keep bends and angles to a minimum. There were easier ways to do this, but I have criteria I'm trying to stick with, and this was just a little more work, and a little less expensive (except for time, lol).

It's probably worth noting, that for those that don't know, it seems like any of these multi-pump buckets/modules require you to ADD a fuel filter. I believe it's because the OEM fuel filter is IN the bucket/module and auxiliary pumps take the space where that filter WAS. So - you have to add one. I think there's one external one that mounts behind the blower, near the firewall, FWIW, too.

I went with the FUELAB 828 filter, I wanted something larger to help minimize any flow restriction. I'm running -8AN lines to help offset the tighter bends in my routing. Planning to mount it in the same spot as radz28, but I’ll need to fab a custom bracket since the 828 is a bit larger than most filters people run.

I’m not a fan of the underhood filter setups that come with some of the complete kits. Heating up the fuel before it even reaches the high-pressure fuel pump, and eventually the rails just seems counterproductive.

I’ll post some pics once it’s installed—hoping to make it my Easter weekend project.

I’m running a -10 AN Fore Innovations filter. We made a custom stainless steel bracket and mounted it under the car (above the road noise panel on the passenger side). I’ll have to find a pic but think it’s posted in my build thread.

Just that part. Maybe later I'll redo the low side lines.

Very cool, sounds like we will have similar set ups. Please share pics when you're done!~

This is what Katech installed on mine. If I remember correctly, I understood that it also hides the Flex Fuel sensor as part of the filter/unit install?

https://katechengines.com/i-30498304...ilter-kit.html

I will try to get better pics of it later this evening.

Thanks
