Can I paint the rotor hubs black?

Ok, no idea why the center of the rotors are battleship gray, but I don't like it!

Can I paint the gray part of the hubs black? If so, what kind of paint should I use so that it doesn't peel??? How much prep would it need?

It has been done by others on the forum, at least the Gen5 forum. Just stuff them up a bit for better adhesion, mask off rotor, wipe down with a good cleaner to ensure there’s no grease or oil on the hat and paint with a high temp paint. Should be good to go.

I did mine. Just used high temp caliper paint. Turned out nice.

scuff the gray with 600 sandpaper, tape the rotor face and use black satin hi temp caliper paint. I've done it on all my camaros since 2010.

Painted the rotor hubs yesterday on my 2020 Camaro 2SS (with 48 miles on it!).

I'm really happy with how they turned out...
