Cool, good to know. Guess 3750 with a full tank is going to be about right.

1 Gal of gas weighs 6lbs, so the weight is spot on. Outstanding. Now if I could just get my weight down below...."What? Coming mom!" Sorry gotta go.

If this thing came in at a half tank at 3500 pounds it would be like a dream come true. I bet 100 lbs is not out of the question with seats wheels and rear seat delete

Personally I wish GM offered a factory rear seat delete as an option with trim that flowed into it. I never will really need them as even my daughter will be able to sit in the front soon as the airbag has a weight sensor, and the aftermarket rear seat delete kits look cheap... |

My 99 Z28 weight was 3570 with me in it, I weigh 180#... The 6th gens are a much larger car... But it would be nice to get that weight down.

I wonder how small they can make it while fitting the V8 in there.

They just lost the back seat and it's belts, the passenger seat and it's belt, went to smaller wheels, and smaller brakes, made some non essential suspension components thinner, simplified the steering, removed much of the NVH materials, etc...none of that impresses me. Now if they went to carbon fiber body panels, that would have. Instead they added Bushwacker fender flares. |
