Connecting to home network
Got a new (to me) low mile 2017 and was fooling with the audio/Nav bluetooth etc.
I could see my home network (while in driveway) and managed to login to it once and connect to mylink etc. However more often than not it won't connect even while entering correct PW etc. Is there any reason to connect to it? I'm not using onstar but have gotten androidauto and like how it functions nav wise and phone/text interface. Also I have several artists/songs selected as favorites..however when they come on a different channel...unless i'm looking at the display...(not while I'm driving) I rarely see the little message that a favorite is on another station... any way to make it audible or more visible? Glad to be back in a sports car after the family van died

Don't really understand your question but no, you should be connecting to your home network from your car.
As long as your music is downloaded to your phone, Apple Car Play/Android Auto won't use cellular data. |

It was two questions I guess... I guess I must not be getting a good WIFI signal in the driveway even though my phone connects much farther away. Is there a reason to connect to my home wifi? System updates etc? Apps? Second ..is there a way to make the "favorite tune/artist" notification on the display audible or more visible? |
