2010 camaro garage door programming

Can you just use the garage door remote to program to the car or do you have to use the learn button on the garage door motor also?

thank you Bobby

Probably depends on the garage door opener. With my circa 2004 Genie I had to use the learn button.

had tue use both. Remote to pair with the car and then the learn button to pair car with opener. Look in your manual or google homelink pairing for your cars year.

I had to use the learn button. Depends on the opener I guess.

I have an ancient garage door opener. All I had to do was use the remote per the Camaro OM procedure.

Thanks I guess it does depend on the opener, I used the two outside buttons to clear any stored codes, then picked one button and used remote, I did not have to use the learn button on the opener
