I currently have a GM card with lots of points available, but the max redemption limit for my card type is $1500 on a Camaro. I recently signed up for the My Rewards program (https://www.mychevroletrewards.com) and I got a bonus offer through that program that will give me $1000 towards a new car. The FAQ on the My Rewards says that the GM Credit Card points can be combined with the My Rewards points, but does anyone know if the maximum $1500 redemption allowance from my credit card causes the extra GM My Rewards points to not be able to be used? I guess another way to ask, do I have $2500 in rewards to use on a Camaro, or only $1500?

My guess is $2,500.

I'll try that next....I started with the My Rewards website first...had a chat and they were not able to tell me the answer - they said I needed to contact the dealer
