Weird remote start problem...
Hey guys I have a 2016 2 SS Camaro A8 with around 17,000 on the clock. Something that's happened twice now has been that when I remote start it turns back off and I have to get in and start it. Once that happens the car has crazy idles and doesn't shift into higher than 3rd gear. It also throws on everylight for a couple of minutes until I drive around. Any idea what could cause something like this? Should I just never use the remote start?

I'm assuming you mean it turns right back off, and not after 10 minutes (the max run time on a remote start). also, you can remote start twice before you have to actually start the vehicle with the start button.
I know if any codes are thrown up, it shuts the engine down, and it won't remote start if a code is thrown before hand. have you checked those to see if anything is stored? |
