Thumbs up Looking for Cam for 2018 ZL1 1LE

I’m just a little curious if you guys think this cam is good for my build. I would like my car to still be street worthy so not to aggressive. The Cam I’m looking is from Texas Speed and Performance. Specs, VVT-2 w/ 32% fuel Lobe: 231/235 .645”/.635”, 116LSA 112ICL. Thanks. I’m also adding 2”kook headers with high flow cats, Corsa Exhaust I just put on, Roto Fab Big Gulp, Griptec 2.3” upper pulley, ATI balancer, 9.1” lower pulley, Weapon X heat Exchangers and Mighty Mouse catch can.

Sorry I don’t have any experience with cams for this platform but have you thought of maybe porting the blower and doing a 2.175 and keeping the stock lower? Spinning the stock SC too much creates a lot of heat so maybe scale down on the psi you are trying to obtain but gain power by freeing up restriction.

Yea I’ll be porting (kong performance) the stock blower, snout and adding 103mm Katech throttle body in the winter months..hopefully the Heat exchangers from weapon x help with that heat demon.

CSP just did a video on heat soak and pulleys. Made more power consistently with a larger pulley.

I’m subbed to that channel, just watched That great video, good source of information. We will see how much weapon x bigger heat exchanger can safely handle, definitely going to be playing around.

With full bolt ons, ported SC, and cam I’m pretty sure you’ll make 700+ with ease. My only concern would be spinning the blower that much and I would want methanol to keep the temps down on the SC or the inter chiller.

Not sure I would waste money on the stock blower. Do it once, do it right

This is pretty close to my current setup. I went with the VVT 3 32% Fuel Lope 235/.358/.645.

Have to tell you, it drives like it did stock, until you get on it. Then its a completely different car, for the better.

Your setup sounds great, interested to see how the heat exchangers do. I did 690 RWHP and 666 Tq. No porting, stock heads.
