Performance Data Recorder $900.00
Any SS owners or ZL1 without this option that are interested in adding the Performance Data Recorder to their cars? This option was only available on the ZL1 and 1LE cars. You need to add the recorder and replace your 8" touch screen with touch screen specific for PDR cars. I have both pieces available and GEN5DIY will have the plug and play cable done and for sale very shortly. He will offer the entire system for sale but you can save some $ if you can find these components which are not easy to find. GM is asking over $1700.00 for these two parts.

can you tell if it might be possible to upgrade the camera? I can't imagine it would be a proprietary camera/image sensor. Maybe we can source a drop in upgrade?

Should be no issues with upgrading the camera. Contact GEN5DIY as they are all knowing when it comes to these things.
