Changing stock HID's

So my passenger side HID bulb appears to be out. I was wondering if any of you have any experience changing the HID bulb, specifically on the passenger side. It looks really tight and I was curious if it necessitated taking off the bumper or anything else of that nature. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

It's definitely a bit early for the HID bulb to have failed, I would recommend the warranty route as well. The bulb may be fine, but the ballast powering it may have failed.

I swapped my ZL1 bulbs for 1 color temp cooler (to better match the LEDs). For whatever reason the together passenger side was a breeze, and after removing the air filter the driver side was a royal PITA. The damn seat for the bulb was just cut poorly, and the teeth on the new bulb did NOT want to click in properly. Took me hours for that one side and finally resorted to a large set of dykes to assist [insert joke here].

Thanks everyone I guess for the sake of $$ I will try the warranty option first. If not, I might take ur route Summit and go aftermarket.

Weird failure, last 2 cars were HID, over 10 years, same bulbs and ballasts. Def. a "bathtub" failure.
