eBay is completely infested with these tacky overlays. Personally I think they're crap. If you want that carbon fiber look get real CF.

People wrap stuff in carbon fiber look all the time I would much rather do overlays then try to do it myself and it look crappy. Red CF Blue CF glossy red Glossy Blue.. look at the shoes people wear nowadays. OP ignore people that are here to just down on others. I hope it turns out the way you want it too

Pretty sure this is real carbon fiber (they do make different color CF), look at the pics. Anyway, I have the red interior and thought it would match up nicely. If you look at what the kit comes with its not like its overly done. And its not like I am using the entire kit so I can use what I want, where I want and it should come out pretty good. If its not your taste then move along, nothing to see here.

With a CF insert? What did they do, put CF down they pour plastic over it? Do you know what CF looks like as the reflection angle changes? So if this is plastic then they nailed how CF reacts to sunlight.

I’d be interested in seeing the end result.

My issue with overlays, especially on interior bits, is that the overlay can sometimes be too thick and it becomes obvious that something is sitting on top of the original surface.
