Misaligned front fascia

Is there a bulletin for the misaligned front fascia? I read several threads where people took in and had dealer body shop correct. Unfortunately my 18 has same issue on passenger side near reflector.

Unfortunately misalignment of the front facia to the fender on the passenger side is fairly common on 2018 production. It just boils down to poor workmanship and sadly there doesn't seem to be sufficient quality control and these cars are allowed to leave the plant. When the 18's began to arrive I stopped by four of my local dealers to check out fit and finish on them, after reading a thread on the forum on the same subject. About 25% of the 18's I saw had a noticeably misaligned front facia on the passenger side, while all the 17's I saw had good fit. It's definitely a problem area on some cars and anyone in the market for a new Camaro should be aware to check fit and finish very carefully. I haven't read any posts where this issue was corrected. Sadly, it just seems to boil down to where the wheel of quality lands on each particular unit, regardless of trim and price!

Both the front and rear facia are made to be attached quickly at the factory, by people who don’t have a lot of skill at fit and finish. It is fairly correctable. I’ve done two or three cars, is a combination of pushpins, torx bolts and the white clips. By getting a helper and loosening everything up and getting it where you want, and then tightening it down, you can correct the majority of facias....red loctite Also helps hold it there.

No but it starts with torx bolts in the fenders, Bolts across the bottom, and taking out the interliners for the fenders. I’m sure Ricardo at phasetek can send you some information/pdf, he is a wealth of knowledge on this particular subject.

It's very very sad that you have to deal with such fit and finish workmanship issues on a near $70K brand new specialty car......

For those whom have misaligned front fascia. My passenger front fascia was misaligned at delivery but corrected this week By Chevy dealers body shop at no cost total time spent was 30 minutes. They removed inner wheel well liner and loosened bolts then moved and retightened. The entire facsia did not need removing in my case. Hope this helps DYI GUYS IN FUTURE
