Some concerning noise?
Hi guys,
Recently got retuned and I've always had a small wooshing/metallic noise when the car is turned off. Today it got a little more short and agressive. The car shuts down a little rougher too. Currently running basically FBO with ethanol. Could this be from intake valve coking? I'm high mileage at almost 70k miles. I was a fool and didn't invest in a catch can either. Any ideas are somewhere to start. Thanks guys, hope everyone's safe and healthy! |

Mine sometimes sounds like a blow off valve when turned off lol.
Small Gremlins that unless trigger a sensor just seem to happen with many factors as to why, humidity, fuel pump dumped a bit of gas when powered cut, etc. Like any car, watch the vitals, it's probably fine. If coked valves were an issue you'd notice it more with throttle. |

does the car have any exhaust leaks? slip joint connections that aren’t 100% sealed sometimes do this.
