AFR reading help

So I have HP Tuners myself, and have been able to set up datalogging tables for boost, and every other sensor needed, but AFR. I can only get it to read the commanded AFR, not the actual real time AFR. Am I missing something here?

Assuming that isn't possible through the ECU and I have to get an aftermarket gauge.. Is it possible to replace one of the two 02 sensors with the 02 sensor for a gauge? Really don't want to have another bung welded into my downpipe if possible. It's a catless dp anyways, so they should read nearly identical anyways.

You *should* be able to read AFR via HPT Scanner. Do you have the correct PID enabled? I thought it was just WBO2? You don't need an extra sensor or gauge, as you already have a wideband O2 sensor.

I understand we have a factory wideband. I've been able to read it over a bluetooth obd2 scanner and the app "Torque" but not on HPT itself. I haven't tried WB02, so I'll go out for a drive here in a bit and try that. All of the PIDs I tried had air and fuel in the name. Hopefully that works. Thanks

Found it! It was under "WB EQ Ratio 1" it was in Lambda which threw me off at first, but it allows you to change it between standard stoich 14.7 or several other options.

Damn, I'm good! lol. Glad you found it and got it working! Saves you like $300-$500 instead of having to buy a gauge and an additional sensor!
