Tour mode may allow more rear squat and traction from a dig, my understanding is that you still get 100% throttle.
I have a GTR that was stock, then FBO, and now an A9. I recently picked up a 2017 ZL1 as well. Based on my experience with both cars I would expect an FBO GTR to beat up on the ZL1 from a dig. Now stock for stock on a road course I have found the ZL1 to be faster most of the time. The ZL1's ride quality is better than the GTR for daily driving. Just my perspective with both cars. Is your car still stock? I know I had a little more in the car, but I only got 2 runs in before a Vette dropped his bottom end and spilled oil all over the track.

Must either have no idea how to drive or his car is definitely just exhaust and tune/93. Because a 700 AWHP, AWD car will have no issue beating a heavier, 550 RWHP, RWD car by half a second or more. A 700 RWHP GTR should be mid tens, maybe low tens. So far, numbers have proven that a stock ZL1 won't run faster than an 11.1-11.2 in normal conditions/driver.

Im not trying to be an ass by saying this but did you read the high performance manuel that came with the car? If explains the different modes and effects. Taking stabilitrack and traction control off in race mode releases the throttle more. I can rattle of 11.3s all day easy. In touring i have to get lucky to get an 11.4. Just try it.

It would be pretty sweet if GM gave us a 700+ HP Twin Turbo engine from the factory so we could just Exhaust + Tune and grab another 100-200 HP without opening engines and going crazy with pulleys and stuff. The beauty of Turbos. |
