Autogeek Black Friday sale?

Do they usually run one (or cyber Monday)? I have a larger haul I’d like to purchase soon, and am kinda waiting for BF/CM sales. Thanks for any insight!

The best deal they offer is 25% off and free shipping. They usually do it 4 times per year. Get on their mailing list and you will be notified.

You can also check their sale section in the autogeekonline forum, they talk about when those sales are expected.

Autopia is having a 20% off and $4.95 shipping sale going on right now. They also have some waxes, sealants, and coatings marked down some already, so with the additional 20% off, you get a decent deal.

For example a 500ml bottle of Carpro Reload is marked down to $31.49, after 20% off it's $25.19. This is actually 28% off the standard $34.99 normal price.

Autopia and Autogeek are owned by the same people. PBMG (Palm Beach Marketing Group)

Several sites sell the same stuff....Autogeek, Autopia, Detailed Image, Detailers Domain, Detail King, Detailing.com. I'm sure there are more. You just have to check and see what sales they are running.

Good luck on good deals!

You never know when you'll find a great deal. I got a Rupes mini LHR75E for $180 from detailing.com a couple years ago. It's normally $300. Wont ever get that deal again!

It's very rare that they offer discounts on polishers. Check the AGO forums. They talk about when those sales are offered.

The best way to get a discount is to establish a business account if you can.

The Rupes 21 original version can be had at most detailing sites that sell it
for $320 versus the original $399.

Getting a discount on a Rupes polisher is rare.

The only problem with the original version was that it would lose rotation at lower speeds easily when going across curved areas. Kevin Brown invented a "washer mod" that corrected this.

You can also put a Rupes 5" backing plate on the original version.

I've had mine for 3 years, done many cars with it, and it still works flawlessly.

I would also mention if your only doing your own car, the Griots Garage 6" R/O polisher is all you really need. It will get the job done, it just takes longer then the Rupes to do it.

Do you think the 6gen ZL1s could also really use the smaller (2-3”) buffer to adequately polish all the smaller spots and curves etc?

Yes, and if your order hasn't shipped yet, I'd remove the 3" griots polisher. It's not very good for doing any paint correction, doesn't have enough power.

Too late :/

But honestly it will only be used for my car, and I take impeccable care of my vehicles and paint, plus rarely drive my ZL1 all that much. It will likely only be tasked with the most minor of paint defects.
