2SS or 1LE

So I have been looking for a new camaro since I got rid of my 13 ZL1 when I had my daughter. But keep know my daughter is over two and is facing forward in her child seat. I have found two I like one is a 1LE with PDR the other is a 2SS with mag ride and sunroof both 17's. It's a 4K price difference between them since the 1LE has a red tag sale. I am very torn I like the look of the 1LE more but like the features of the 2SS. Anyone else had the same dilemma. I don't plan on tracking the car.
Also how do child seats first in the new one my wife is 5'5 so my daughter will go on the passenger side. Thanks

I made my 2SS an 1LE with an A8 but mine was a '16 with deep discounts. Which is an option.

I wouldn't say that statement is entirely accurate...

Your family will appreciate the features and somewhat better ride of the 2SS. If you do track the car, the 2SS does perform very well. You will be satisfied at the track and your family will be happier all the way round.

You may want to take a ride in the Camaro and even put a child seat in it. I am only 5'8" and I have maybe 2-3 inches of room from the back of my seat to the front of the rear seat edge. No way any child much less an adult can fit back there.

If you only want the looks of a 1LE, get the 2SS, and add the parts you like.

Have you driven both? That may tell you which car you want

Not dissing you, but you "kinda" made your car an SS 1LE...lots of content missing.

This, if you just want the look with the amenities of the 2SS, just get a 2SS and add the replica wheels, splitter, hood wrap, etc...

I also have a feeling that 1LE demand is growing due to more people knowing about it, and summer coming. It seems that more and more are showing up at autocross events and track days. So, if you want the 1LE, a purchase sooner would probably help you. There are definitely people holding off because they don't want to have to purchase winter tires right away since the 1LE comes with a set of summer ONLY.

If you want a 2SS, I would hold off until the discounts come. It looks like any non-SUV is not selling well, and the discounts are coming. For example, the SS Sedan is 20% off right now.

If you have no plans of tracking it go with the 2SS. You can always add items later if you like the look more. As far as car seat, i don't have personal experience with them in this car however I can tell you with how much room you actually have back there they should have just made it a 2 seater

Yes, the 1LE has a shorter throw shifter.

Was there a clear difference between the standard SS and 1le just driving around on the test drive?
