So my buddies and I are planning to race one of these days. I have my 17 ZL1...see sig for mods. My one friend has a 15 Mustang GT that he just threw a Paxton Novi 2200 blower on. He is making 715 to the wheels at 9 psi (I think it is a Dynojet reading) and his car is a manual trans. He has upgraded half-shafts and some pretty decent tires. And his rev limiter is at 7500. My other buddy has a 16 Camaro SS with an Edelbrock E-Force blower. He ran 11.1 in cooler temps and 11.4 in hotter temps with his 6 psi pulley. He has since done LTs and is now running about 7.5 psi but he hasn't gone to the track yet with the new setup. he does have DRs. We plan to do some roll-ons. I'm thinking all of our weights are similar. So I'm wondering how this will all play out. I'm making the least hp out of all three of us but I'm making more tq (assuming) than the GT. I wonder just how good the A10 trans is and if it'll be enough to keep me on the heels of a 715 hp GT. We'll see.

Also I'll be running my HC against them. Mods as of now are just a CAI. But it is a manual trans. How do you think that will play out?

I think the Mustang will walk everyone....if he can drive. Be sure to record it.

+1. You're gonna need more than a magical a10 to even be close, especially from a roll. Now if you run one with a base procharger kit ~550-600rwhp, that would be a really good race. I've run three so far, two stalled autos and one manual, all were making around 600rwhp and ran high 10's and I lost by a couple cars from a roll to all of them. Granted, I was stock, but that guy is also putting down way more power than the ones I ran.

From a roll an a10 and m6 zl1 are pretty evenly matched, especially from a 60 and given a competent driver who isn't afraid to nls, so I would push some dig races hard lol

The SS against your zl1 or hc would be a good race though.

710whp should be an easy 135+mph 1/4 car.

Im going with you and the SS being farely close, about a car or so one way or the other. GT will be several cars ahead. Granted he can drive and hook at 700+whp

Mustang should have no issues walking both of you guys if your running on the move. Hellcat may fair a bit better it seems like they can pull a bit on the ZL1 after 100mph in most of the videos I have seen.

yea I'm thinking it'll be a good race against the SS but the GT is gonna take some more extensive mods to beat.

From a roll the highest HP(Mustang) should walk ya. From a dig on unpreped you will take them all up to a point. From a dig on the track driver will definitely determined that outcome lol.
