Mustang owner $2,000 conquest incentive gone?

Looks like the $2,000 incentive to lure Mustang owners to buy a Camaro, has disappeared for May.

Don't get me wrong, I love Camaros, and I know the April Sales numbers aren't out yet, but it boggles my mind at the high m srp, and lack of incentives on the Camaro. Its negatively affecting sales and keeping alot of people from getting this great car.

That's good news, but lets wait to see how it stacks up vs Mustang and Challenger. I was referring to overall history of gen6 sales, not just one month

Your dealer is giving you the wrong info. Its still available

DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS FOR AUDIT PURPOSES:
- PROOF AS CURRENT FORD MUSTANG OWNER/LESSEE MUST BE RETAINED IN THE DEAL JACKET.
APPROPRIATE PROOF WOULD INCLUDE A COPY OF CURRENT OWNER CONTRACT, TITLE, VEHICLE
REGISTRATION (ONLY IF THE CUSTOMER'S NAME AND ADDRESS APPEAR ON THE REGISTRATION)
OR A PAYMENT COUPON IN THE CUSTOMER'S NAME. IF REGISTRATION DOES NOT INCLUDE THE
CUSTOMER'S NAME AND ADDRESS, A COMBINATION OF THE REGISTRATION AND PROOF OF INSURANCE
WITH THE CUSTOMER'S NAME AND ADDRESS IS ALSO ACCEPTABLE. SCREEN PRINTS FROM STATE
DMV/SECRETARY OF STATE OR EQUIVALENT WEBSITES ARE ALSO ACCEPTABLE IF THEY SHOW CLEARLY
THAT THE CUSTOMER CURRENTLY OWNS A QUALIFYING VEHICLE.
- IF THE VEHICLE IS DELIVERED UNDER THE GM EMPLOYEE - ORDER/STOCK (17-06-*) OR THE GM
DEALERSHIP EMPLOYEE PURCHASE PROGRAM (17-09-*), THE DEALER MUST MAINTAIN A COPY OF THE
SIGNED OVER TITLE FOR THE PURCHASING CUSTOMER'S QUALIFYING VEHICLE OR A COPY OF THE
PAYMENT COUPON SHOWING A SCHEDULED END DATE WITHIN 365 DAYS OF THE DELIVERY DATE OF THE
NEW VEHICLE. THIS DOCUMENTATION MUST BE MAINTAINED IN THE DEAL JACKET.
- IF TRANSFERRED TO AN INDIVIDUAL RESIDING IN THE SAME HOUSEHOLD, PROOF OF ELIGIBILITY ALONG
WITH PROOF OF RESIDENCY (DRIVER'S LICENSE OR STATE IDENTIFICATION) FOR THE TRANSFEROR
(ORIGINAL INTENDED CUSTOMER) AND TRANSFEREE MUST BE RETAINED IN THE DEAL JACKET.

Thanks for the info! That's good news! My dealer did in fact tell me the mustang conquest was gone. Thanks again. Some dealers are shady...

I have a good connection at a CFL dealer, (I got over $3000 below supplier on mine when nobody wanted to discount SS 1LE's). So if you ever need a local dealer, let me know...

Thanks I Normally deal with David Maus but after my Traverse purchase (Tried to work wit Autonation and Starling) got a good deal but felt like I had to work and work just to get it.

Now my Camaro I purchased from Rodgers Chevrolet in Michigan I will not even bother locally anymore I will just deal with Becky worry free, she made it too easy and zero stress.

Cool, I got a price from her as well...it just wasn't that good. My guy beat it by two grand. Plus I just didn't like the idea of having a car shipped either...incase there was any issues, but many have without issues of course.

Yea sometimes she cannot but for me it was price but the experience and how I felt after the deal and how I was treated plus she had what I wanted in stock and she is a good friend it all worked out.

Tom Gibbs is a good dealership I purchased my Impala from Tommy.

The sales experience is HUGELY important, I agree with you there...I have bought from Gibbs in the past before I got my new connection at Hall. Where do you live?
