What is the indentation on the driver's side A pillar for???
Anyone know? It's driving nuts trying to figure out why it's there!
I tried searching, surely someone else has been curious, but didn't come up with anything. |

I'm pretty sure it's the location for the microphone for hands free.

Check the audio forum...people have taken the A-pillar trim off to reveal the microphone and of course an airbag.

not a great place to put it. in the center headliner console is were they should put all of them.
