How does a gm supplier code work
Does the dealer get money from gm? Let's say a dealer has a camaro with a msrp of 44k, invoice 42k and that Camaro has been sitting on the lot for a few months so the dealer wants to get rid of the car. If I haggle them to 42k could they apply the gm discount and knock off another 2k without losing money, my price would be 40k.

Nope, Supplier discount is a price that you can get it for, not a discount. Some incentives add onto that deal, some don't.

The GM supplier and GM-Employee plan have certain criteria in place, so as said the deal is the deal. Rebates do add on but that is it, but the GM-S and GM-E plan also limit the amount the dealer can charge for the "dock fees" to $75.
