The little details or not
So, I bought a 2017 2ss with the upgraded front brembo brake package. They are amazing and look great with the red paint, but why doesn't Chevy match the red paint to rear caliper? Seems like it would have been a little attention to detail that would go along way to color match front and back.

Totally agree ! Just seems unfinished for such a expensive option

Hello,
I thought the same thing about the lack of matching paint on the rear brake calipers. My plan was to have them painted myself. I am OCD like that. But the 50th had all four done, so cha-ching... Kindest, Donner |

Yeah. That really bothered me too. I tried painting with the G2 red caliper paint, but it's a good bit darker than the upgraded front Brembos. I ended up buying the '17 1LE calipers for the rear which don't match perfectly either but are a whole lot closer than G2 red. And the finish was so much nicer than the ones I painted.
On my car journal I have a pic of the car with the 1LE calipers (page-1) and some pics of the ones I painted with the G2 paint (page-2). http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=469102 |
