Summer Only Tires (Camaro)

I have a 50th and obviously all Camaro's come with Summer only tires. What tires are most of you running due to this fact.

All season or...

Let me know down below.

There are about 5 days a year in Houston when it is cold enough to not like summer only tires.

I'm running Michelin Pilot Alpin tires, but I'm in a much colder climate than you. Can't wait to put the summer tires back on.

I run summer tires on all my performance cars without question. And I drove them year round rain or shine. Summer tires do great in the rain in temps above 40. In Northern CA it can get into the 30s but normally only when it's dry. They work ok once warmed up in that situation. Never had an issue whatsoever. Obviously we don't get snow here but do in the mountains. I take my 4x4 truck to the snow.

I don't have budget or storage space for two sets of tires. Mine stays in the garage when it is too cold or nasty to take it out. I have an old truck to drive on the bad days.

Since I only drive mine in the summer, I'm good with what's on it. however, I've never been a Goodyear fan, more of a Michelin guy. but so far these GY have been doing quite well.

Most of my cars that I've owned had summer tires for 3 season. If I need to use that car during winter (like this Camaro) I put on winter tires just for winter and swap them out to summer tires when spring comes.

I have all-season run flats on my v6 50 and I'll be swapping to summer only tires when these die... I live in Florida so other seasons are not much of a worry.

Lot of similar topics in the Tires section of this forum.

To answer yours I changed mine Summer tires to BFG All seasons. They've been exceptional.

I run my GY A3 Summer tires all year long here in NC. Rainy or the occasional snowy/icy/real cold day, I leave it in the garage, have no interest in All Season tires and no need for them, hence why I purchased a sports car.

Which BFG tires did you go with? I am in South Jersey and am considering the switch to all-seasons.
