I tell you, back in 2009 my 2010 SS/RS was built and 7 days later it was at my dealer. They called me and said "Well, are you gonna pick up your car or not" I couldn't believe it. I thought he was joking. I know this is not typical with QC holds and such, but it did for me. I know your anticipation, enjoy!!!

California here! Exciting stuff... honestly I'm sorta glad I got 11/7. Financially, I've been planning to take delivery in December, so the November delivery was sort of freaking me out haha! And more time to try to sell my BMW privately. But the wait is still going to kill me...

I'm an employee at a dealership group, so I check my status daily (ok, twice a day). Will report as much progress as possible. Also, I noticed that shipped cars get a railcar ID, and if I'm not mistaken, those can be tracked like UPS packages. I'll consult my train-nerd friend for confirmation on that. All of our cars tend to be rail shipped to Milpitas, CA, about a 15 min drive from our dealership.

Looks like it! There's hardly any 10/24's by the looks of it too... and no 10/31's. I'm thinking that's the planned buffer in case of quality issues, so I'm hoping ours roll off the line and ship immediately. It takes about 12-15 days to go from "Ready to Ship" to delivery at our dealership in San Jose, so I've got my fingers crossed for a Thanksgiving-ish delivery.

Just added PDR to my order after the hiccup today... fingers crossed that our TPW's aren't affected!

Got 3100 status today...

Can't wait to get mine in time for the winter (rain) season haha

Guess I'll add it's a Mosaic Black Metallic 1SS 1LE with PDR and some all-weather mats, trunk mat, and cargo net.

Looking forward to it!

I have a TPW of November 7....I think! Unfortunately being a Canadian order Becky can not track it so my info is less than she provides on here. My salesman is telling me TPW of Nov 7 but can't tell me the current event code so crossing my fingers it does happen then. I am in Newfoundland so that is the eastern most Province in Canada and an island so I am not expecting my car until Christmas week if lucky. Because the final major leg of the journey will be on a ship, weather can impact. Once it is in port delivery to the dealer will not take long but there are some LPO options to be installed and because my car is the LT, we are still "negotiating" the fin antenna being painted to match the car.....not a fan of the black one.

Wow, almost as much involved in getting to Newfoundland as getting one to Hawaii, except for the distance. Good luck. I hope you get it before Christmas.
