Best Axle Back exhaust to get?
So picking up my brand new 16 2SS which didn't come with quad exit exhaust..But didn't bother me since I was going to buy a aftermarket anyways..I am just looking for sound so this is why I am going with axle back vs Catback...Which is the best sound one to get? And since it didn't come with the quad exit I wouldn't be able to get a aftermarket quad one right? Sorry new to this

Check out MBRP as an option. I have heard it in person, it is pretty great.
https://youtu.be/VOU_vERE6tI And here's a link to Phastek's options in case you haven't browsed their site yet... http://www.phastekperformance.com/20...ers-s/1460.htm

![]() I still wish someone would put together another site like ls1sounds. You could find just about any configuration possible on that site.

I have the Outlaw on and it has a nice rumble to it, and loud of course. The cold start alone is worth it, will scare kids and old ladies nearby lol. There is drone, but it's fairly low when cruising on the highway when in 6th. The black tips are a nice touch IMO. I do have a video of cold start and idle on my phone if you want to hear it?

If you don't want drone when cruising but still want a mean sounding system when the pedal is mashed, I strongly recommend Borla. If you want a throaty mean race car sound, and don't plan on doing headers go with the ATAK
but if you are considering headers down the line, maybe the S-Type is the better choice in my opinion

The GM Performance choice is pretty nice and has no issues with warranty.
