WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE 2016 2LT and 2SS models?

I know 2SS is V8 and 2LT is V6 but besides that are there any other differences?

Also the 2SS cost more money and the 2LT weight less.

SS has:

Different nose, wider wheels/tires, different spoiler, hood vents, better manual transmission, more cooling, upgraded suspension, standard RS package, better brakes, standard HUD, etc, etc.

The SS gives you a lot more...

If you want to get detailed go here:
http://www.gmfleetorderguide.com/

Select year and Ordering Information > Car > Print Book > Camaro > Specific features or the whole model > Print

It doesn't actually print - just opens a PDF.

I can only imagine it would be much easier and faster to search the forums for such basic information.

There's quite a bit of differences (excluding SS specific equipment) between a no option 2LT and 2SS. 2SS essentially has all the tech and convenience pieces (sans NAV). Whereas the 2LT has to have several packages to be equipped the same.

I'm not entirely sure why I'm replying to somebody too lazy to do basic research with 1 post who typed the thread topic in all caps, but:

Different badges, for starters. For the rest, look it up. Chevy.com may be a good place to start since you can go through the options of building one…

I got my new 2LT in December price tag was $39,600 with all of the options. Sure, for that price I could have had a bare bones 1SS. BUT, I did not want a bare bones anything. It was either a loaded 2LT or 2SS. However the 2SS done up my way would have been $46,000. I could not pony up another $7,000. However, with the 2SS you still have to option out the NPP dual mode exhaust, automatic tranny and magnetic ride control. That kinda suck IMHO. You are getting the top of the line camaro. You really should not have to option out anything. This is my first Camaro. As much as I wanted the 2SS and experience the V8 engine, I had to set a PRICE limit.....This just sets me up for a future 2SS.

The problem with this world is stupidity.
I'm not saying there should be penalties for stupidity,
but why don't we just take the warning labels off everything and let the problem solve itself.

Just tried on my laptop. Site is working fine. Maybe it is mobile phone/mobile website issue.
