Camaro V6 exhaust
Looking to add an exhaust system to my 2016 Camaro RS but I do not want to void the manufacture's warranty. Any experience on the V6 performance exhaust sold at the Chevy performance website? Specifically concerned with sound. Thanks!!

I went with the muffler delete and it was a lot of drone for daily driver but sounded awsome wot. added the MAGNAfLOWS and its better but I wish I would have went with dual mode. best of both worlds. |

nothing is going to really convey low frequency because most microphones on consumer cameras can't pick up the sub-woofer range of frequencies that are associated with "drone".
I have the MRT v1 axle back. Sounds great. It will reverb the crap out of the car at certain part throttle frequencies but in final gear it is very livable. At WOT it screams/roars without the stock crackle sound. I dont like the crackle, some do. If you do, MRT isn't your exhaust. |

I have the mrt v1 axle back as well. Like cellsafe said it sounds great but I personally can't stand the drone at 2-3 k. I am getting new mid pipes to get rid of the drone.

Agreed. YouTube can be misleading. In person, and mainly when the car is in drive, and you'll hear the truth. Engine with a load on it, you hear what everyone else will hear in full effect when you are driving.

Not sure how a pipe change is going to correct that without altering the entire sound of the exhaust but good luck. i look forward to hearing about your results. Hard to get the deep notes only at WOT without valves of some kind. |

You're hearing a strong drone at 85 in 8th? I assume you meant 8th instead of 6th.
Once i'm done accelerating the car shifts into final gear (Second overdrive i guess you could call it) and it's fairly quiet. Easily ignorable. Even at 80. edit: at 80 i'm just hovering around 2k rpm. If i remember correctly. |
