What did i get?

So I actually had a choice when I bought my new Camaro SS. I could have went with a 16 2SS for the same price I bought my 1SS.. With the 2SS the up grades you get obviously are the leather and some interior perks but it was silver and I liked black for this car better.

But the main reason I picked the 1SS was because it came with a sort of Performance Package from GM. And I always pick Performance over creature comforts with every car I buy. But what did I actually get? Is it called a performance pack sort of like with the Mustang? Basically it came with the upgraded black wheels, the red upgraded 6 piston Brembo break system, NPP Dual mode exhaust , upgraded shocks with shock covers for the track and Red SS center caps on the wheels...

The Msrp on it was $42k the same as the 2SS. So with this package from the factory it was $5k over a regular 1SS.. So is it safe to call it a Performance Pack or what? Lol... Ill have to get some pics up hopefully later today when I get a chance..

Congratulations! Sounds like a nice car indeed. I'm not familiar with any sort of performance package but I have not really looked at many 1SS's either.

Can you post a pic of the window sticker?

I have a 1SS and am not familiar with something called a performance package. Does it happen to have MRC and 6 piston front brakes? Those are options that would add close to $5K to the sticker.

I don't think it has Magnetic Ride. But I'm not sure.. I didn't even check the books and stuff in the glove box yet as I haven't had time. Hopefully they gave me the window sticker. Like I said tho it does have the Red 6 piston front breaks and upgraded calipers.. I know those alone are $3k.. Its almost like its a hybrid between the 1SS and 1LE..

He said brakes and NPP. That would be close to $5K right there. So pretty good deal if it also came with a suspension upgrade and wheels.

It sounds like you got a fully loaded 1SS. For me the brakes aren't worth the price tag, but if you're going to track the car they will help.

Yeah it seems fully loaded Performance wise. I'm sure it would make a good track car.

There is an option on the GM Supplier build site called the "Performance Enthusiast Package", with either red or gray accents. It includes premium carpeted floor mats, embroidered center console lid, lowering kit and wheel center caps. $2,550 on the site. As someone previously mentioned, you should post the window sticker.

Opps on the brakes! Sorry! That is what I get for speed reading. I think the NPP exhaust, upgraded wheels and 6 piston brakes make up the bulk of the extra 5K. Sounds like a nice car! Now post up a picture or two!

I took pics of the dealers advertising add with the car in it. But when I go to attach the pics its asking me for the url link. There just pics saved in my phone. How do I unload them to here??

In the dealer pic of the car that was on there page that I took days ago before I bought it its says 2016 Chevrolet Camaro 2dr CPE 1SS.. I don't know if the CPE means anything?

In the "advance" reply option you can attach pictures. Click the paper clip to attach a file/picture. Remember to "upload" the file before closing the file attach window.
