Front seat rear access handle?
It's my 1st actual broken part of my 2016 interior.. Gmpartsdirect & all those sites do Not have gen6 catalogs. So I don't know what it's called..
When I pull passenger seat fwd (to put my son in his car seat), I pull the lever on the shoulder of front seat & the black plastic housing pops out! Frustrating! Looks like a clip broke inside. I tested my driver seat handle, works fine doesn't pop off. Anyone know what it's called?

Bring into the dealer, that will be covvered warranty, let them figure out what it is called, that should not be broken already.

Seatback latch. Take it in, that is why you paid for the warranty.

You should be able to do a quick roll by and get it on order. Please let us know how long it takes for the part to arrive.

I'm so afraid of it breaking too! I pull it just until it releases, then grab the seat itself to move it forward.

I use my quite often, they are pretty sturdy, probably just a defective part.
