Friends trying to say buy a BOSS or shelby

I fell in love with the 2016 drove it , may wait for the LE, not sure but have some friends telling my not to buy new etc I dont love the 5th gen just doesnt speak to me, just curious what some of you thought about the 2013 Boss 302? im not a fan of those year shelbys to much power to little handling.... when I start to project the 2017 LE price i think its probably gonna crack 45K do you think resale for the LE would be close to the boss? Thing is im still in grad school and after i finish may end up investing in my business if i had to sell

A coworker keeps telling me to get a GT350 also... the price is insane for what it is, though vs the Camaro. Harp on price vs performance when they nag

Your friends are wrong. Sorry. I do love the new Shelby GT 350, but it's not worth the extra cost. The Gen 6 is a superior vehicle to the mustang, at least for the moment.

Boss cars are still commanding mid to high 30's on the used market, they had an original MSRP of 42,000 I believe.

Due to the limited production run of the Boss..I suspect it'll always command a higher value than a 1LE. It was around for just 2 years (2012 and 2013) and then it was gone.

Stock for stock, a 1LE of the 5th Gen will easy match a Boss (stock) and a 6th Gen 1LE will pretty clearly decimate it (stock). That being said, once you enter into the aftermarket world the Boss becomes an insanely capable track car.

TL;DR: If you're wanting to keep it as a collectible, get the Boss. If you're wanting a performance car now without worrying about resale or value down the road, get the 1LE.

No doubt. It's proven to be quite the disappointment.

Maybe they will fix it for 2017.

yeah the gt350 just seems insane for 65k, I have to say even the stock 1SS blew me away i am not necessarily in it for collection but in a few years I may have to sell depending on what business i get into after grad school ,

any camaro drivers driven the boss? the looks to wow me like the 6th gen camaro, the 2SS seems just a bit to much i love the seats but getting in at 48k seems like alott thats why i feel like waiting for the 2017 LE

do you think the new LE will be ok to drive daily also? I do love the way that car looks from A to Z its my measuring stick right now and on the track i bet will be amazing
