How many Camaros get built each day?
GM says every 18 minutes one rolls of the line.
SO: That would mean 80 per day with 3 shifts, maybe less with shift change. The question is how many lines are working a one time. Does anyone have some numbers/thoughts? Jamesgn

AFAIK, The Camaro is built on the same line and right along with other cars, so that line is NOT building JUST Camaros.
I would also venture a guess that the 18min refers to how often the line spits out a car. Thus yes, the line may produce a car every 18 min, the fact that others cars are being built, we really have no idea how many of our Camaro's are built in a day. |

Divide by 350ish active plant days and you get somewhere in the realm of 190-215 cars per day on average. Assuming lots of stuff of course, but I'd say it's fairly accurate. That plant's other cars are significantly lower volume (maybe 30% total) so it is probably producing 300 cars/day. |

A modern high capacity plant can be running 60 to 70 jph. About 6 1/2 hours per shift. So total on 3 shifts 1300 vehicles or well over 250000 per year. As pointed out ATS and CTS aren't selling well and total MY sales of Camaro aren't that high I'm guessing the actual line rate is much lower.
