So i have been on the fence on getting a 2016 2SS and i think next week I am going to pull the trigger. Fortunately I work for a dealership and one of our sister stores is a Chevrolet. I am driving to Houston to get a Blue Velvet 2SS with NPP, Sunroof , Navigation, with gloss black wheels. MSRP is around 46k and they quoted me 42,738 for me plus the conquest rebate I am looking to be right at 41,738. I have a 2014 1SS I am trading in which has an average trade in of 24,500 (I owe 26,000). I still need to set up my financing through my credit union in hopes of getting a 1.9 if not hopefully i can get a 2.9..
All together I will finance 40k after TT&L. What do you guys think as far as the pricing? I have seen a few people post some great deals. Also do you guys think I can get the dealer to pay off my trade or should i expect to roll over that 1500 in negative equity? I hope the car does not sell before then !

About the financing though,.........I don't think the dealership is going to pay off your current loan. You say you owe 26K on the current Camaro? Not trying to burst your bubble or sound like an ass, but I HIGHLY doubt the dealership, or any dealership will pay off your old Camaro for 26K. They would be losing money big time.

That's what I should of wrote. That would make it over 60K for that '16 2SS.

He is negative about $1500 from that trade in value, he can either put cash down for that amount or yes roll it into the new loan.

Yes just 1500 I'm going to try to make them cover that or it least half .. i think it is possible.
