New Horse in the Stable

Well with winter on the horizon I decided I should probably invest in a winter beater in order to keep the Camaro out of the snow. initially the Camaro was meant to be my DD all year, but I have been fortunate enough that my hard work has lead to a quick rise within my career and has allowed me the extra funds (minus student loans lol) to purchase a new DD. I wanted something I could still get in a manual transmission and remain within the Chevy family, and as you all know this isn't very easy to find lol.

As of yesterday I took Delivery of my new 2016 Chevy Cruze Limited 6-speed Manual. Its not the fastest car, nor is it Synergy Green but I'm more than impressed with the ride quality and the tech features it has. Here's a few pics of it.

Very nice. Are the windows tinted or is it the angle the car is sitting at in the first picture? The dark windows make a nice contrast with the white paint.

Nice one. That's not a 2016 though. Hopefully that was a typo and they didn't sell it to you as a 16.

I like the Cruze. It's lots of fun for what it is.

Congrats.

I like my 15' Malibu as my daily driver....the 2.5L 4 cylinder engine is not bad.

So you categorize a brand new Cruze as a "Winter Beater"? I think I would have to treat that a little better than I would a typical "beater". Fortunately, I've lived here for 25 years now and have seen snow stick to the ground TWICE... and it was gone in a couple of hours.

It is a 2016. 2016 Cruze Limited. Chevy has done this before where a previous body style is run at the same time as the new body style. AKA mine 2016 Cruze Limited and the new one set for spring production the 2016 Cruze.

That was another one I was considering! The dealer I went to (only trust worthy one around) is an "auto mall" and they have nissan there as well

It's a season when you can sometimes only go about 7 miles in 45 minutes. Oh wait, I see you're in the Bay area. Then you already know because it's like that there year around.

Wow. That's a really strange marketing tactic. Congrats on the ride! Great little car.
