Is this a typo?
![]() because I'll consider a z06 even more as my next car if it saves me on my gas cost. The fact I'm pointing out is its not listed as recommended. When I bought my 03 coupe w/ LS1 new, the dealer told me its required to put premium in.. but this makes me wonder :( Taken from GM's site. http://media.gm.com/us/powertrain/en...a/10car_us.htm |

I'm pretty certain it's a typo. If you hit the "SS" to the right of the LS7 description, you'll open the spec-sheet (updated every year), and it explicitly states that premium fuel is required.

with the 11:1 compression of the LS7, you have to run premium
