who's a home made beer maker?
One of my kegs was dangerous low on beer, and the other was empty so it was time for some beer making.
Im in the middle of brewing up 10 gallons. The wort on the left is a Pinellas ale, and the wort on the right is a Honey amber ale. In my blue ice mug is the last of a summer brew with a hint of orange. My wife came downstairs and said your drinking beer while making beer? I said of course, but we're out of wine. ![]()

Use to be before I moved to Mobile. I sold all my equipment before I moved and there are no home brew stores locally to visit. I would have to start over.

I'll be getting back into it as soon as the new kitchen is in. I'm installing a commercial style gas range with enough oomph for a full 6-7gal boil. I'm setting the range up with a pot-filler faucet that will deliver filtered water straight to the kettle. With a spigot at the bottom of the kettle, I'll never have to lift it while full. I'll likely start with extract batches, but maybe will do some partial mash batches to mix things up. Can't wait - it's been a few years.

Yep that's it. Sometimes I follow a receipt just like that were I mix the sugar water in two weeks with the alcohol and lemon, but most of the times I mix it all together at once and just, and just drain it after a couple weeks. I don't notice any taste difference. Limoncello is very very easy to make. Just make sure when you peal the lemon, you don't peal deep enough to get the white part of the skin. That will make it bitter. It taste like lemon drop candy. When im sick and have a cold, its my cough medicine. I have a cherrycello also that my mom gave me. Im afraid to drink it. It still have the cherries in it. I remember when I was a kid and I was sick, she's give me one or two cherries, and it was morning
