Chevrolet Traverse expected NAIAS '08

TRAVERSE

I like it! Although they say that they're not making minivans anymore - GM may be on the road to victory in the crossover segment. This is a nice car from what I've seen.

Supposedly, it's supposed to debut officially at NAIAS '08

my neighbor across the street has the Buick Enclave or whatever it is spelled. that is the buick version of the 'lambada' platform (gmc arcadia, saturn outlook, chevy traverse, etc). it is a DAMN nice looking car/truck/suv/. yeah, it was confirmed in both road and track and car and driver magazine that GM is out of the minivan business. the ONLY van they make now is the full size rear drive ones. there was rumor that the lambada crossovers were gonna replace the minivans AND the midsize suvs (trailblazer,envoy,rainier, etc), but those are just that, rumors.

not a big fan of the crossovers but i guess they are more more practical for everyday use than regular SUV's. I say that in 5 years crossovers will be replaced by station wagons and the cycle will be complete.
