widest tire

So, what is the widest 20 inch tire that will fit on my 2020 camaro 2ss without rubbing ? Example 285/35zr20.

Mainly depends on your wheel offset. With proper offset I have heard people running 325/30/20. A lot of people run 315/30/20 without issue. May have to do the harness relocation depending on how close you are.

305/30R20 on the rear without moving wire harness 285/30R20 fronts

Some people suggest 305/35R20 as well (but you may want to move the wire harness on driver side rear. Thing about the 35 aspect is when you launch from a dig the car squats, when it squats it can rub the wire harness.)

Can fit 315/30R20 with a spacer (move wire harness) Pretty much 315+ requires a spacer and wire harness move.

For the 2SS you can use 1LE wheels and tire widths as a maximum baseline

So 20x11 ET43 20x10 ET20 (accounts for 6 piston brakes) non 1LE 2SS does not have 6 piston, but the ET20 will still work, and allow 285/30R20. The baseline ET range is generally 2mm + or - from the stock suggested 1LE offsets and deviating from the stock spec by that much more may require a spacer.

Also, the wider you go above 315 the more the offset changes and there is no real guide for that to give you offset variables like the following site does. When you start dabbling with 325+ range you may want to think about wide body kits for the rear wheel wells.

Can use this website: https://www.wheel-size.com/size/chev...-usdm-62i--455

If you need to move the rear driver's side wiring harness, it is very easy, here are some before and after shots...
