Talking ZR1 Supercharger SWAP!!!!

First things first, this is not a thread about me buying a ZR1 supercharger,

HOWEVER anyone think it's possible for us?! I mean we have a Z06 supercharger install available from the LT4, and as far as I have read the LT1 is the base for the ZR1. What are your guys' thoughts for the future? To be honest, I would be super interested in getting a ZR1 supercharger possible for the camaro, considering the reliability it will most likely carry with it.

Cannot just put a LT4 supercharger on a LT1, first thing that must be done is to lower the compression ratio of the LT1.

ADM pioneered this and has done dozens of such conversions with primarily GM parts.

On top of all the other supercharger manufacturers. There are probably more supercharged LT1s than any other LSx out there.

Correct me if I'm wrong, while the ZR1 blower is bigger than the LT4....aren't there better units out there in the aftermarket? One of the reasons the ZR1 hits the power it does is it is using a DI/PI setup which we don't have on the LT1/LT4. So the blower is only one piece of the puzzle to begin with.

Well, the LT4 compression ratio is 10 to 1, the LT1 is 11.5 to 1. The LT5 has more boost than the LT4, how is that going to work with 11.5 to 1 ?

Almost like people are running 10+psi on stock pistons and the same 11.5 compression. Witchcraft I know. Just a PSA you should stop typing now before you embarrass yourself more.

Do yourself a favor and do some research in the forced induction section. WOW

ADM already put up a LT1->LT5 conversion page up on their site and marked it "coming soon" with a 25k price tag. For that price from ADM, I imagine that involves swapping the SBE, H/C & then adding the blower/piping/brackets.
