Looking for modded convertibles!
Hey all, I have been having a hard time finding builds for black SS convertibles or even pictures of modded convertibles. Everything in the convertible forum seems to be anger towards rub marks on the tops which is understandable.
However, does anyone have or know where to find pictures of a blacked out convertible SS? I just smoked out the tail lights and side markers and replaced the DRL's with P13W's. Looking for some good ideas on future mods. Thanks in advance, Steve |

Most of what you are looking for is not convertible specific so much... you can find tons of threads around this site on ALL types of mods. Good luck.

I think it is me being picky and trying to find exactly what I want to do. But, then it's not very original is it? Haha.
I have seen a lot of your posts, good looking vert! |

Awesome mods, what HP were you pushing before the headers, exhaust, tune, etc..? I tried checking your photos but don't see anything up, do you have some pics? I also noticed my picture wont seem to display. is there a size restriction or something?
Definite newbie on this |

On my 2013 ZL1 Vert, I had the dealer paint both the front and the rear bowties black. And yes, they're both triple black convertibles. Last edited by HDRDTD; 10-23-2012 at 07:52 PM. |

I uploaded some pictures for you on my albums. Click on my name on the left and you should be able to find it. I will try to get some of the underhood soon.

The Heritage grill does look nice, and both of you guys have some nice rides. Drago, I had to google what the treasure coast was (I just moved down here last year from Chicago). But, that sounds like a good idea. Do you guys all stay in touch via e-mail or through the site?
I just got on mike the powder coaters core exchange list. I am going to go with some zr-1 blue calipers I believe. I like red but a lot of people have black and red. Once I get the calipers I will probably get the stock wheels powder coated with a little gloss black to complete the blackout |

Ok nice, I know McHenry. I will jump on Facebook most likely. I have a tough time handling the message boards haha. I will try to come to one of the near future events. But I will be heading a home a bunch because of the holiday season.

All my mods are virtually "invisible" until you start it up and step on the gas. But it's a modded vert: 550 hp w/ Loud Mouth II exaust.

Yeah man that is no joke, and one hell of a mod. I got my first set of mods completed. I will get better pictures later but we have some tropical storm weather right now. I got the rear lights and side markers blacked out along with colorstable tint. I haven't done the bowties and wheels yet but I am on the fence about going to a full black out.
What do you guys think? Steve |
