rotofab worth it without tune?

I'm considering getting a rotofab coldair intake (dry) but I don't want to tune so i can keep my warranty.... My question is if its even worth buying if I don't tune the car after install. Will there be any gains? Let me know your thoughts. Thanks

I noticed a bit more pep and a slight exhaust change when I got mine. It's value, however, is purely subjective. I do not have a tune but, it's not for a lack of wanting.

rotofab worth it without a tune ?

Will there be any gains ?

The gains have been shown to be between 5 and 15 hp.

Only you can decide whether the gains are worth it.

5hp on stock car not worth it. 15hp on tuned car with long tube headers worth it. the factory intake breaths plenty for the stock car but if you let the air escape the engine better you should feed it better.

I should have bought a ZL1

There is no gain. If there is a 5+ gain you won't feel it unless you want to believe it's there. I did it for the sound tube delete and to get me slowly moving to more mods where it may provide more benefits down the road.

Here are some dyno results comparing the Roto-fab CAI to the stock intake system. We have seen gains from 6-14 HP on the the stock calibration. Our system is one of the very few mods which will improve your performance, appearance, and sound! To answer your question more directly, I think it is well worth it.

From JDP Motorsports, Bone Stock vs. Roto-fab, Stock tune

From CNC Motors, Bone stock vs. Roto-fab, Stock tune

From SCT Performance, Bone stock vs. Roto-fab, Stock tune, AFR included below.

From Abdulisraddd, supporting mods: secondary cat delete. stock tune.
