Chevy71's Hyperblue 2SS build, pro charger, cam, and more

So I decided to do a complete car build journal. Obviously I'm a little behind, so I'll have some catching up to do. Below will be all the pictures and maybe videos of my car. My second post will be a list of what's done and updated in order as I do them.

Here she is day one, still sitting on the lot. Along with a baseline, bone stock dyno pull.

Most of you have seen all this in my pro charger build thread. If not you can review all of it with the link in the next post below. A lot of work and risk, but well worth it! Up first was the motor portion. Baseline compared to motor only work with a set up built for boost, you will see the gains this setup helped bring with boost in the next post.

The Goodyear F1's don't perform at all, it was time for some new rubber. While the Conti's hook up better, and are far better on a wet road... no street tire hooks you up with this car. Along with this I installed the nGauge so I could watch my parameters while driving, do datalogs, and load tunes to the car. Along with that I put AEM's wideband in with the Bosch O2 sensors.

I went with Eibach pro kit lowering springs and had them installed at a dealership. Much better stance and the car handles far better! So far I have done little cosmetic wise and need to focus on making this car look more unique for sure

So my memory failed me (again) and I got this out of order. I did the black out kit before I got the car lowered. First picture is the headlights. One has a film on the other doesn't. Second picture is with both on. The last is the side marker lights with the kit on.

Up next I removed the rear bowtie and installed a black one on the front. I also blacked out my third brake light and tailights. I've been considering the ZL1 1LE third brake light and GM's black tailights... I wanted to see how I thought it all looked. I do like it and think I'll end up getting these over my blacked out one. Mine just don't look as good. Bottom picture is my black bowtie, I'm considering installing the flowtie front grille instead. Bugs don't stick to that one.

Up next will either be a good, driveline with DR's, or aftermarket wheels. I have to make my mind up what I want most and let the wife cool off a little haha

Last night put some track time on the car, and it really needs some traction.. which means driveline neeeds to be stronger because the weak factory stuff won't hold up. Even with all the spinning and the soft launches we managed to do 125-127moh all night, which isn't bad. One of these links should work!

Here is a speedometer video (crazy camera skills) of a speed pull on a private drive and not on the streets with innocent people all around.

11's, but it was due to lack of traction. I had to leave soft to keep from breaking stock driveline parts, and try to keep spinning down. My trap speed shows with good traction I could be 10's easy. I was car 1757
