Ever Wonder how 6th Gen 1LE stack up against C8?

This was at Mid Ohio recently. Well driven C8.

C8 is definitely a faster car, the gearbox, power to weight, the flat floor(aero) and mid engine.

Our Camaros are still good but it's not as good as the C8.

Wow, that picture makes it look like you bought two different sizes of scale models.

Nice driving. Is that NJMP Lightning? Looks like a fun track.

Cool. I haven't done either one yet, but would like to get there next year.

I imagine that a ZL1 would take care of a C8 Z51

A fair comparison would be if the Camaro had the A10.

I don't think the C8 corvette is an huge improvement. Maybe the Z06 and ZR1, but we need to compare those against C7 Zr1

Straight off the dealership lot they run very similar lap times but you have to remember a c8 z51 has much worse tires on it. I’d bet if you put on super car 3’s on the c8 z51 it’d be a good 2 seconds faster than the ss 1le. There actually isn’t a huge improvement between a10 and m6 for roadcourse work.

Agree, but tires and brake pads are consumables. A fair test would be with the best tire/pads possible. A decent street/track setup.

Luckily, I had an experience to see a couple and raced a few from a roll out here in Arizona Half Mile Drag Strip a while back. I had a great time. I have SS 1LE M6 and I was shocked when I came back looking at the scoreboard how well I did. I can only imagine having a A10 it will be up there with a Z06. After this event I did a few mods like changed the LT2/91 tb to a MSD/Ported 103 TB and new tune with some weight reduction, so I am curious to see how it do at the next event. Overall, I can't wait to see some out at road course.
