Green Filter vs. AFE Panel Filter (Magnum Flow) Options?

Hey all, had a Green Filter on my 2019, but have noticed they are nearly impossible to find new right now (might end up just buying used), but wanted to see if anyone had experience with either the oiled or dry AFE versions here:

https://afepower.com/afe-power-30-10...ilter#overview

I've had pretty good luck with AFE products on past cars, but wanted to see if anyone was running one of these panel options, and better yet whether they had compared to the Green Filter. Thanks!

AFE products are top notch. I have ran their intakes and air filters several times.

I don’t think you can go wrong with either filter. I ordered an AFE dry drop-in for my 2019 Blazer to replace a K&N oiled.

Have you tried ordering a Green directly from the company? I know you’ll pay a higher price but you may get the filter quicker. I ordered a Green for my GMC pickup directly from the company and had it in less than seven days.

I went with the K&N Panel filter. Based on what the MFR says, the K&N flows 830CFM @ 1.5in H2O vs the 750CFM @ 1.5in H2O.

The problem with the K&N is that they are really bad filters.

If you want the air actually filtered for your Camaro, use the stock filter.

That was a good read. Thanks for sharing. In K&N's defense tho, I've been using them for over 20 years in various applications and the particle filtration has never caused compression issues resulting from damaged rings or cylinders. Good maintenance I think is the key with any aftermarket filter. At the end of the day the best filter is the stock filter as far as filtration is concerned.
